What's Cooking: Creamy Beef Ramen

When the kids are almost home from sports practice and you haven't bought groceries for a week; easy ingredients to keep on hand.
 

Recipe: 

 2 (3 oz each) packages ramen noodles, any flavor
2 tablespoons sour cream 
1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted 
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk 
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 lb cooked ground beef, drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup french fried onions

Preheat oven to 375°. In a bowl, combine dry crushed noodles, one packet of seasoning, sour cream, soup, water, milk, and onion. Add browned meat. Stir to combine. 
Pour into a greased  9x9" oven-safe casserole dish. Cover and place in oven, bake for 20 minutes. Remove and sprinkle cheese then french fried onions on top. Bake uncovered 10 more minutes. 

Serves 4.
